behind crag to crux is a strong woman

Hello there! My name is Raee and I am the owner and artist of Crag to Crux. I have been artist since I could hold a crayon, and I have followed every different creative media from watercolors to writing. I put my abilities on hold to pursue a career in environmental science, but I found that something was lacking.

I wanted to create a business that bridges the gap between my love and passion for environment and my ability to create. I wanted to network and talk with other amazing climbers, artists, and scientists. This company began with a single sticker and has evolved into a community, allowing me to continue expanding. I am trying to build and evolve my brand by trying to gather the ideas behind femininity, nature, climbing, and creativity.

As Crag to Crux continues to develop, it has also allowed me to use this as a platform to become a voice in mental health awareness. Growing up and struggling with Bipolar Disorder I have grown more vocal of my own personal hurdles and allowed C2C to appeal to those who use nature as a cure for their mental health issues.

The goal of Crag to Crux (C2C) is to be able to translate my environmental science background into working with non-profits and climbing brands for more sustainable climbing products, along with maintenance and training for crag/park restoration and protection. I also plan to work with other groups for positive mental health and nature as an option for coping and dealing with their own struggles.

Crag to Crux is trying to be more than a brand, it’s going to be a movement.
